And, more than that if your count restarts where I hadn't played very much into it before deciding to begin again fresh.as I was learning the ropes. I played this over again like 4 times now. This has happened for me in multiple different play-throughs. I'm talking on a separate (new) game save from the save that I had killed the reaper from the crash site in the shallows. On next play session.another reaper 're-spawns' in shallows. I can lure it all way back to shallows kelp area.save game.kill it.save game.exit game. That's the only thing I can think of for why they'd keep 're-spawning' in shallows.Įdit: I can also do this with the reaper on the other side of the shallows.just beyond the blood kelp. So, it's either they are 're-spawning' or the fact that 'up to 10' being able to spawn around the crash zone has somehow set a new spawn point in the shallows cuz I had lured one there. Start-up game again.little bit later another is spawned in same kelp bed area of shallows.again. For that matter, I can make one chase me out to shallows area.kelp bed area or whatever.save my game. would it keep re-spawning in the shallows next to my base. There are around 6 Reapers behind the Aurora. Maybe this isn't true with some in a certain location but, not all of them. So, not re-spawning? Don't think I believe that. Later.next day of playing.I load game up and same Leviathan is there hunting me in the shallows. I've also made that same leviathan angry and it chased me into the shallows. And, after saving, exiting, resuming game, the leviathan ually back in their original area.įor example, I've killed the leviathan hanging out at the back of our crashed spaceship so I could scavenge in there without it chomping my seamoth like a tin can.that it is.and then later after putting game down a while.there's another leviathan there. I've killed lots of leviathans.Or, I should say.the same leviathan.many times. Sea Treader herds tend to migrate between the fields within the Sea Treader's Path, never staying in any specific area for long periods of time, as well as traveling through the large cave located in the Sea Treader's Path.Originally posted by Mardoin69:Hmm.not sure I agree.based on my experience.maybe my game was bugged. They will place their beak into the ground and start moving it for a while to munch on seagrass or other flora.Įach time the Sea Treader takes a step, it may spawn 0-3 Shale Outcrops that will slowly sink back into the ground after a short amount of time. Sea Treaders occasionally stop on their track to either defecate (dropping its feces in the process), or to graze. Sea Treaders often gather into herds, keeping the smaller ones in the middle of the pack, while the larger ones stay on the outside. If the player tries to swim in front of it, the creature will attack them by pecking or swinging its beak, removing 40% of their health bar. The Sea Treader walks slowly and passively around its paths, constantly emitting loud, echoing calls. Smaller Sea Treaders also appear from time to time, being smaller versions of the adults and following 1-2 of them at a time, suggesting that they are juveniles. The Sea Treader's main body is mostly blue, decorated with bright bioluminescent orange patterns.Īn image in the data bank entry shows that Sea Treaders have compound eyes. These feelers run along its entire body, and end in two bumps at its rear. Two large feelers protrude from its underside and extend upwards, growing on either side of its head. The Sea Treader's head features two pairs of large and small eyes. Its front "leg" is, in fact, the creature's head, mouth and/or "beak", also segmented and foldable for moving around. Its body consists of a large torso with long, double-jointed back legs. The Sea Treader has three sizes small, medium and large.
